Young Mosaic Artists
Ishmael (left) and Russell, both aged 13, work on hand nipping and back-buttering the tile for the waves element at the base of the design. Both boys have worked with True on prior community mosaic projects; this is their third project and they began learning mosaic techniques when they were 9 years old.
